I think that spring and fall have always been my favorite seasons of the year. They’re transitional times. In the spring, the days get a little longer and color starts come back around us. The autumn season is a cool down period when plants slow down and the weather isn’t too cold or hot. It’s the same in the Kingdom. Seasons in our lives change. Sometimes we go through transitions. At times you can sense a change coming. You may not understand it completely or know exactly what it is, but you know that things are different. One thing you can be sure of is that seasons continually change. Here’s what the Bible says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV. In the Amplified Bible, it says it like this, “There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven…” Everything has its season, an appointed time. What season are you in right now? Perhaps it’s a time of growing spiritually, or seeing the Word of God in a different light. Others may be in a period of great harvest. You may be in a challenging time right now, but don’t lose hope. The season will change just as sure as winter will turn to spring. Whatever season you’re in right now, take time to thank the Lord for what His Word promises.
