Do You Know Jesus?
Jesus came to this
earth, not to condemn and beat us up. No, He came to give us life, so
we can enjoy it to the fullest till it overflows. (John 10:10) Isn't
that what we all want, to enjoy life? Jesus didn't come to bring
religion to us, He wants to restore the relationship between God and
man. Separation from God leads to eternal death. Choose life today and
get that relationship back.
So, how do we do that? The book of Romans chapter 10 verses 8-10 say this:
But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Pray this prayer and believe it. It's not some big religious ordeal you have to go through. Say this: "Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins.
I confess my sins before You this day. I denounce satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You rose from the dead. Now I am saved."
You are now adopted into God's family. You aren't bound to sin or to that old nature, you're a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Now get connected to a good Bible-believing church.
That's where we learn, grow and work together to help each other. Just like a family is supposed to be.
