By Grace
~by Pastor Eric

It is by GRACE that we are able to do what we do. By GRACE through faith. Not because we pray for hours and hours, not because we have more faith than anyone else and not because we have fasted for 40 days. No GRACE comes because of The Father’s love for us.

GRACE is God’s willingness to use His power on our behalf. Isn’t that great to know? God, I AM, Jehovah wants to be involved in every area of our lives, physically, spiritually and financially, and use His power for us.

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

You can’t work to get what has been given for free. If it’s a free gift, why would God take it from you? The truth is, He won’t take GRACE away.

Romans 5:17 (Amplified) “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing GRACE (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (The Messiah, The Anointed One).”

We have been made righteous through Christ. Grasp that and get it down into your heart. YOU are the righteousness of God. Say it every day. Maybe even several times a day, until it comes alive in you. That’s who you really are.

How do we receive our healing? By GRACE through faith. Restoration in our relationships? By GRACE through faith. Financial breakthrough? By GRACE through faith.

One other area that GRACE covers is sin. Not so we can go out and sin more. NO. It is by GRACE that we have overcome sin. Sin no longer controls us.

Occasionally Pastors Eric and Laura will write as the Lord leads them. There may be prophetic words or insights and revelation that have come to them. They share these with the intention that someone would be blessed and encouraged or admonished, something we all need once in a while.
