What we see in the world today, is a disturbing trend towards victimhood. Something that is prevalent in our society and it must come to an end. It has become stylish to play the victim in almost every area in life now. There’s always someone else to blame for our problems. I’m not denying that there are problems in the world. Jesus told us that there would be. “These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.”John 16:25 (KJV) We live in a fallen, sin-ridden world. However, our biggest problem isn’t coming from other people. It’s how we perceive ourselves in comparison with our situation. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39 (KJV) We are more than conquerors! That’s who we are!
